ARSENAL WANTED TO SIGN DRIERS MERTENS FROM NAPOLI IN THE TRANSFER WINDOW.

During the summer transfer window of 2017, Arsenal had tried very hard to sign the Belgian striker Driers Mertens, from the Italian club Napoli from Naples. But he did not sign up with Arsenal instead he signed up with a new contract at Napoli. But Arsenal could very well make another bid for him in the summer transfer window of 2018. Arsenal will try and pay his buy out clause which stands at a very moderate amount of 30, thirty million euros or 26 million pounds.
