In the ladies world cup England defeated Canada 2-0 It has been really long since a English football team reached the semi finals at a major tournament. Last time England achieved such greatness was at the 1990 world cup in Ital Here the goals were scored by Lucy Broze and Jody Taylor. Now the four countries playing in the semi finals are U.S.A. Germany, England and Japan. Germany play the U.S.A. And England play Japan. Please let us not take Japan lightly as they are the reigning world champions by the way.
