WAYNE ROONEY EYES SIR BOBBY CHARLTONS GOAL RECORDS, FOR CLUB AND COUNTRY.

Wayne Rooney says he has his eyes on overtaking the goal scoring record of the great Sir Bobby Charlton. Sir Bobby Charlton has scored 49 goals for England. Wayne Rooney has so far scored 41 goals for England . He has now scored one goal more then Michael Owen , who has scored 40 goals for England. But the last goal for Wayne Rooney was against minnows Norway , who failed to reach the world cup for eight years, it was scored in a friendly meaningless match. Now Sir Bobby Charlton has scored 249 goals for Manchester United, while Wayne Rooney has so far scored 217 goals for Manchester United.
