THE LONGEST GOAL ACCORDING TO THE GUINESS BOOK.

You might be wondering which is the longest goal ever scored , and who scored it and when. The goal was scored in a E.P.L match between Stoke City and Southampton in the 2013/2014 season. The goal scorer was the Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, who is used to give long kicks from the box. The goal was scored in the twelveth second of the match.From 99 yards distance. The Asmir Begovic kick was wind aided , it bounced wickedly fooling defenders Lovren and Fonte. The bouncing ball foaxed the goalkeeper Artur Boruc.And the ball went in. Asmir Begovic,Paul Robinson, Bret Fiddel and Peter Schmichel are the only goalkeepers to score a goal in the E.P.L.
