The English midfielder Steven Gerrard who is 34 years old, and has 114 caps to his credit and 21 goals for England has finally decided to retire from duty for England . He said it took a lot of time and a lot of advice from players, friends and managers to convince him to retire. But what actually caused him to decide to retire was the 2014 world cup in Brazil. He was a utter faiilure there, in fact he was so bad he was listed in the flops of the 2014 world cup along with Diego Costa.
