STEVEN GERRARD HANGS UP HIS INTERNATIONAL BOOTS.

The English midfielder Steven Gerrard who is 34 years old, and has 114 caps to his credit and 21 goals for England has finally decided to retire from duty for England . He said it took a lot of time and a lot of advice from players, friends and managers to convince him to retire. But what actually caused him to decide to retire was the 2014 world cup in Brazil. He was a utter faiilure there, in fact he was so bad he was listed in the flops of the 2014 world cup along with Diego Costa. He was also guilty of giving the ball twice to Luis Suarez in the match England between Uruguay. Thank you for the many matches we enjoyed to watch. But he says he will continue to play club football with Liverpool. He played for England from 2000 to 2014.
