Real Madrid had originally decided to shelve the idea of buying Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspurs for a record amount of 86 million pounds or 100 million Euros.
But that plan of waiting for a year was cancelled out, after it came to their knowledge that Manchester United, were keen on Gareth Bale, and wanted to buy him for 60 million pounds.
