Even though Dennis Bergkamp played for eleven years at Arsenal from the year 1995, when he joined Arsenal for a then record fee of 7.5 million pounds from Inter Milan.
The reason he will not manage Arsenal is simple.
He has a fear of flying in a aeroplane, it goes back to the 1994 World cup year in the U.S.A, where e had a terrible experience in the air.
At Arsenal he used to play in England only or in France or any country he could go by ship ,road or even train. Arsene Wenger and Arsenal were very understanding indeed.
So there is no chance of Dennis Bergkamp taking over at Arsenal once Arsene Wenger retires.
Dennis Bergkamp had a few pet names one was THE SILKY DUTCH MAN,because of his smooth passes.And THE NONE FLYING DUTCHMAN , because of his fear of flying..
It seems more likely Frank de Boer who is the manager of Ajax will be the next manager at Arsenal.
