ARSENE WENGER WAS RELUCTANT TO SIGN MATHIEU FLAMINI , FOR THE SECOND TIME.

 Arsene Wenger  is known to stand by his principals , like not breaking a contract., and he does not like to take players at the age of thirty , and those already at Arsenal will get a years contract only  once they reach thirty years.A few examples are Sol Campbell  and Dennis Bergkamp.
In this case Mathieu Flamini left Arsenal to join A.C.Milan  in the year 2008, even though Arsenal offered him a new contract, but now he is a free agent after being released  by A.C.Milan.
 He was training with Arsenal , so Arsene Wenger says he must have seen what Arsenal had in them to offer his services , even though he had  calls from other clubs in Europe. He then joined Arsenal  in the summer.
 As Arsenal are very thin in the midfield due to injuries , he has now played two games coming in as a substitute and he has done well.
