Germany won the EURO 2013 , which was held in Sweden..
This years final was held between Germany and Norway. Germany won a hard fought victory.
The one and only goal came after Anja Mittang came on as a substitute in the second half, she was barely on the pitch for three minutes, when she scored the winning goal.
But here we must give great credit to the German Captain Nadine Angerer who saved two penalty shots from the Norway team.
Now Germany have gone and won their straight sixth W OMENS EURO CUP..
Now I know there are lot of critics who say it was a rubbish tournament, and that the two penalties taken by the women from the Norweign team were very poor..
But let me ask you critics has the mens team from any country in Europe ever won a EURO CUP , six times in a row, check your records men.
