It is indeed sad English football has sunk so low, I mean English born footballers. So it is absolutely wrong to blame Stuart Pearce or Roy Hodgson , if England failed to qualify for a cup.The F.A is to blame.

In Spain 90 percent are Spanish born players and in Germany it is better 94 percent German grown players.. .
Spain and France have more home grown players, and they are poached by the English clubs . Like Michu , Santi Corzalla , Cesc Fabregas.. One reason is they are cheap and make less demands for their salary compared to English footballers. The Theo Walcott, Wayne Rooney drama are examples.
England last won a world cup in 1966, and not reached a final after that, their best was a semifinal in 1990 in Italy. So they will not win a world cup for another thirty years, if this continues.
