The former Manchester City goalkeeper Bert Trautmann died of a heart attack in Valencia , Spain at the age of 89 years..
He was a German and came to England as a prisoner of war.
He played for Manchester City from the year 1946 to the year 1964.
He is best remembered for playing for Manchester City for 17 minutes , in the F.A. Cup final with a broken neck.
