REFEREE SENDS A PLAYER FOR WEARING EARRINGS.

The Wigan Atletic was sent of in the sixty fifth minute in the E.P.L match between Arsenal and Wigan Atletic. None of the players were aware why he was sent of. The player Franco, Di Santo, who has long hair, was playing while wearing earrings. The F.A rule does not allow players to wear jewelry on the pitch. The reason being a player could get very badly hurt, and wedding rings are covered by plaster. The other reason being costly jewelry could get lost or stolen. But I feel the referee should have asked him to give it to the fourth referee. He played those sixty five minutes because he had long hair.
