Article 10 E) very states that the footballer who assaults a player in any way will get a three game ban.
There is no need for the English F.A to go to U.E.F.A with a begging bowl asking to be lenient. Just because he is Wayne Rooney. Andrei Arshavin got three match ban in 2008 for kicking.So a rule for one, a rule for all.
There are six months left for the Euro 2012, England can choose a striker to fill the boots , it could be Darren Bent or a new striker , who could very well shine at 2012.
