THE BIG 85 MILLION POUND QUESTION.

When Fernando Torres moved from Liverpool to Chelsea for 50 million pounds a English record, and Andy Carroll moved from Newcastle United to Liverpool for 35 million pounds. As both were on the last day of the January transfer window, both were desperate buying, and the price shot up.
But both these talented players have had injuries, Fernando Torres had a knee problem and Carroll had problems with injuries as well as his off field problems , mainly drinking . Even Fabio Capello has warned his striker to cut the booze.
Both have lost both their form as well as their confidence a great deal.
So it looks that they were both over paid .
But we must remember a good footballer who scores goals and is brought for 50 million pounds and 35 million pounds , can not be a bad footballer, he has lost form but his class is permanent, he will not forget the art of scoring and assisting in the goals.
