RIVER PLATE ARE FINALLY RELEGATED.

The most successful football club in Argentinean history, and one of the strongest clubs in South America were finally relegated for the first time in their 110 year history. It was a black day for Argentinean football.
All River Plate needed was to score two goals in the match verses Belgreno but it ended in a 1-1 draw. With River Plates goal scorer Marieno Parone missing out the important penalty.
The match came to a early end as the crowds invaded the pitch in anger and disgust.
There were 2, 000 riot police with water canon , to disperse the angry fans.
Proud fans wanted the president Daniel Pasarella head .Asking him to resign for bringing this proud club to its knees.
The main reason for this is that as the club is in big debt they had to sell their best players like Javier Saviola. And many more will leave now.
Pasarella is known as the captain of Argentina for winning teir first world cup in 1978.River Plate are 33 times champions of Argentina.
