Sir Trevor Brookings the head of the English F.A is indeed very worried these days. The reason is that England have not yet produced any new talent of world class quality from the clubs youth system in years. He very clearly says this, I fail to see any Steven Gerrards, Frank Lampard, Joe Coles or Michael Owens comming inthe English team very soon.
And sadly the only wise manager in the E.P.L is Arsene Wenger who loves to develop youngster for the future. Take a look at Arsenal team they are just with an average of 23 or 24 years.
And he has got two youngsters in January from Brazil and Bolivia both aged 17 years only. The advantage here is that they come cheap as well.
