SERIE A LINESMAN ROSSARRIO COPPOLA BLOWS THE WHISTLE.

The former linesman MrRossario Coppola claimed in a court in Naples, that Inter Milan to was involved in the matchfixing scandal in 2006. When Juventus was demoted and A.C.Mian, Lazio,Fiorentina were all handed point penalties for the year 2007. But Inter Milan were clear of suspition.Inter Milan benifited by being awarded the 2005-6 Serie A titles which was won by Juventus.And until the scandal Inter Milan had not won a title in 18 years.Rosarrio says that all big clubs tied to gain favours from referees.Let us take the Serie A match between Inter Milan and Venezia. The Columbian footballer Ivan Cordoba who is a defender for Inter Milan was sent of for hitting a player.He got two game ban.But the regeree boss Gennaro Mezzi told Rosario Coppola to change his view from hitting to a pushing so that Cordoba would get a more leniant punishment, for Cordobas action in the disciplinary tribunal, as Inter Milan had apealed. As Coppola refused to do so , Coppola has never ever officiated in a Serie A game.
