It will suprise many football fans to know that A.C MILAN was originaly started as a cricket clubby Mr Alfred Edwards and Mr Herbert Kilpin in the year1899.Please kindly note the spelling of Milan in INTER and A C MILAN.It is spelt the enlish way and not the italian way which is MILANO.

In the year1908 there was a big disagreement in the club, leading to a major split at the club,it was all over the number of foreign players allowed to play. In the end there was amager split at the club ,thus leeding for the club INTERMILAN to be come a club in Seira A in its own right.
Even though every club in Seira A have been demoted atleast once so far,the only club to stay up in all these years has been INTERMILAN. Even big clubs like JUVENTUS and A.C. MILAN have been demoted due to scandals. INTERMILAN celebrates its hundred years in2008.
